Texas Gov. Rick Perry is getting personal with Californian companies via their state’s radio airwaves.
“I have a message for California businesses: come check out Texas,” Perry says in a 30-second radio spot. “Our low taxes, sensible regulations and fair legal system are just the thing to get your business moving to Texas.”
The message coincides with a new California-targeted section at the Texas Wide Open for Business website and follows California’s Proposition 30, which raised taxes on consumers and top earners.
Perry’s offering on why Texas has been named the best state for doing business for eight years is running on six radio stations in the San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Inland Empire and San Diego media markets.
