The six-year-old airline will host two daily flights between San Francisco and Austin, departing California at 10:15 a.m. and arriving in Texas at 3:35 p.m. The Austin flight leaves at 5 p.m. and lands in San Francisco at 7 p.m.
Connecting flights will be available from Austin to Virgin America’s Seattle, San Diego, Los Angeles and Las Vegas destinations.
Virgin America is a California-based domestic carrier that is partly owned by British billionaire Richard Branson. It was launched to compete with other low-cost carriers.
