Austin lands Virgin America

Virgin America Inc. has added Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to its fly list, launching nonstop service between San Francisco and the Capital City beginning May 21.

The six-year-old airline will host two daily flights between San Francisco and Austin, departing California at 10:15 a.m. and arriving in Texas at 3:35 p.m. The Austin flight leaves at 5 p.m. and lands in San Francisco at 7 p.m.

Connecting flights will be available from Austin to Virgin America’s Seattle, San Diego, Los Angeles and Las Vegas destinations.
